Gameplay

The game of Ubisoft released from 29th October-22nd November 2013 is a well versed game it has many features that of assassins creed -III.The game includes cities mainly Havana,Kingston,Nassau and Bahamas.These cities are dominated by Spanish ,British and pirate influence.The graphics of the game is exceptionally good and the many features like freedom to explore is increased in this game.The world opens up sooner in the game as opposed in assassins creed-III,which had very scripted missions.the player get jungle,villages ,forts, ruins,etc.The players are allowed to board ,engage capture passing ships ,the game also allows to hunt and fish.The game also features a exploration to 50 other unique places with 40%on land and 60%on naval.The game is based on naval expeditions
The ship of the player is named as Jackdaw which is upgrade able through out the game and the crew recruit system of Brotherhood has returned.The player will have his crew,who can be promoted to captain of other ships by capturing them.But these ships cant be used in  combats or any assassination.
The modern day Abstrego  Entertainment players engage to modern day pirating the eavesdropping,exploring and hacking.The graphics of the game is very good and it is more realistic the game has lot of side quest and naval combat.

Setting

The  set in the early 18th century Caribbean during the golden age of the piracy,and followed by the notorious pirate Edward Kenway who is a welsh privateer turned pirate and even member of the assassin order,who stumbles upon conflict waged by the assassins .the story is divided in two parts present day.
There is crafting like Far cry and one can unlock different types of armor and clothes or even craft them. There is a new mission added this time the Templar hunt which is of great fun.New sources money has been added is assassin contract ,naval contract ,forts and naval convoy.thus money earning is very easy this time.Under water diving is a remarkable

feature added this time.

Plot 

The game starts with a naval fight between two ships the player is called Edward Kenway,who the put the other ship on fire but a Assassin attacks on the ship and kills everyone eventually both Kenway and Duncan Walpole(the assassin) reaches the shore and moves in a conflict and Edward kills the rouge assassin and wears his clothes ,he also gets a letter from the corpse from  Spanish governor Torres in Havana.Edward travels to Havana and learns about an observatory and sage.The animus this time uses the DNA of Desmond Miles and the present day player is called as subject !7 though he is mislead by saying that the research is done for a film but in actual is done so to search  "the observatory".As Edward unravel a conspiracy between high ranking Templar within British and Spanish empire who is trying to clean up the pirates in Caribbean the have locate a sage Barthlomew Roberts  -the only man that can lead to observatory by which they want to become the ultimate power.In the meanwhile a band of notorious pirates dreams a state where man is free  to live beyond the reach of kings and rulers. With Kenway they seize the control of Nassau .However poor governance and lack of economy and out break of disease collapses the state ,Kenway tries to resolve the dispute but is too late .

Then the sage and Edward uncover the mysteries of the observatory but Edward is betrayed and saved by the assassin mentor and Edward joins the assassin.In the meanwhile a letter arrives from England stating that his wife is dead leaving his daughter .Edwards returns to England and promises to come back and end the Templar

Criticisms

The game is good but its major criticisms is  it has got a lot of naval expeditions.
